Second time here with Scion to hangout shoot the event SCION A/V HOUSE PARTY. This was also the first event I shot with my newly broken camera and flash. The night only had two dj’s on the bill, Kyle Hall & The Amazing Carl Craig.  Both of them Smashed the crowd with smooth mixes and great drivin tunes. I found myself  dancing and enjoying their sets more than I was shooting photos.

Tamie Adaya presents a group show curated by Anchor Cult at the beautiful Hotel Shangri-La in Santa Monica. The show is titled “Street Meds” and is a benefit for the Venice Family Clinic. The theme and focus of the event is on street art – broadly construed. I’m excited that we are going to be shooting the scion house party on an regular basis, its located at “THE ROXY” in Hollywood.  Its been way too long since ive heard some sick minimal trancey tunes like this, dj’s THEO PARRISH and MONTY LUKE were smashing the dance floor!

Thanks again to Tamie for letting us enjoy the Sun, people and good music poolside at the Shangri-la. Andy Airwolf couldn’t make it out, so Nolan and myself hit the road. After a small detour we showed up to everyone having a great time, soaking in the sun and playing Monopoly. Andy Milonakis took first place with his railroads and four houses .A big thanks as well to Yuki and Chris Leacock for spinning poolside.

Crazy packed  night at the crosby  so crazy the Fire Marshall  came out and shut the party down early  so we moved it to club10255 and finished the night off with Fiero, Andy Airwolf and Chibi banging out the tunes!!!!
